The Dallas Women Lawyers Association Foundation congratulates Nicole Blaylock (UNT Dallas College of Law), Jania McGahee (SMU Dedman School of Law), Ahvae Nicholas (Thurgood Marshall School of Law), and Peyton Wakefield (Texas A&M School of Law), as recipients of the 2025 DWLA Foundation Get Started Grant.

The DWLAF Get Started Grant was established to help kick-start the legal careers of local area law students as they enter the legal profession. Each recipient was awarded $2,500 to cover bar preparation fees, living costs and exam fees.  Congratulations Nicole, Jania, Ahvae and Peyton!
